SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition of tank weapons, namely, to shot with armor-piercing sub-caliber projectile, and can be used in tank military subdivisions. Throwing charge with increased energy characteristics to armor-piercing sub-caliber projectile with energy additive in components of propellant of one type. Total chemical composition of the propellant includes colloxylin 50.4 %, nitrodiglycol (NDG) 23.85 %, dinitrotoluene (DNT) 8.1 %, dibutyl phthalate (DBP) 4.05 %, vaseline 3.6 %, an energy additive (EA) 10 %. Invention provides higher values of energy and ballistic characteristics of the propellant charge, which increases the range of firing to the target by an armor-piercing subcaliber projectile by 4 %.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase range of firing to target and efficiency of destruction of armored, light-armored enemy weapons and non-armored targets.
