FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a catalyst module for use in a system for controlling emissions of a stationary combustion plant, an assembly unit and a method of making such a catalyst module. Catalyst module comprises a set-up frame extending in longitudinal and transverse directions and comprising two surfaces located opposite each other in direction of flow, and mounting unit inserted into composite frame. Mounting unit comprises peripheral sidewall and several webs formed by means of mutually interlaced metal sheets, which intersect each other along vertical and horizontal. Partitions contain edges that are oriented to surfaces and are not bent and form a grid with multiple mounting seats, into each of which there inserted is a catalyst. Resilient mounting element is arranged between catalyst and mounting socket. As the temperature increases, the mounting socket expands so that the temperature-dependent change in the required mounting distance between the catalyst and the mounting socket is compensated so that the mounting element remains clamped.
EFFECT: invention provides high flow properties, reduced leakage and increased efficiency of exhaust gas cleaning, as well as reduced production costs.
