SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biaxially oriented polyester films with a coating having high resistance to initiation of rupture and containing a polyester-based film and a heat-sealed coating, wherein said heat-sealable coating contains one or more amorphous copolymers containing 30 to 40 wt. % of links of terephthalic acid, 10 to 20 wt. % of links of naphthalene dicarboxylic acid, from 10 to 25 wt. % of neopentyl glycol, from 10 to 25 wt. % of diethylene glycol and from 10 to 25 wt. % of ethylene glycol. Present invention also relates to a method of producing such films, use of said films when packaging food products, as well as to packages using said films.
EFFECT: said films are sealed under action of heating and peelable with respect to polyester and aluminium containers, wherein they provide high tightness and easy peelability without breaks when used for sealing containers from APET, KPET and aluminum.
