FIELD: health care.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to health care, namely ophthalmology, and can be used to determine the indications for primary vitrectomy with an unfavorable type of course of stage 3 active retinopathy of prematurity. Spectral optical coherence tomography (SOCT) of the retina and optical coherence tomography are performed in angiography mode and when, according to SOCT data, in the vascularized retina in front of the shaft and in the projection of the shaft, retinovitreal neovascularization proliferation in the form of hyperreflective membranes, the germination of neovascular complexes spreading along the posterior hyaloid membrane into the vitreous cavity is detected with the formation of multiple highly reflective conglomerates on its surface, thickening of the posterior hyaloid membrane with an increase in its reflexivity, and according to angiography in En face mode - hyperreflective epiretinal neovascular complexes near the shaft in the form of a "lace frill" with active hemocirculation in them, primary vitrectomy is considered indicated.
EFFECT: invention enables to define clear indications for primary vitrectomy due to the data of retinal SOCT and angiography mode.
