FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crushing of ores, solid materials, namely jaw crushers and can be used in mining, chemical, metallurgical and other industries. Jaw crusher comprises housing with side walls, crushing chamber including movable jaw, bed and two side walls, working element. Working element is made from a plate in the form of a rectangle, is located in vertical guides above the receiving hole of the crushing chamber, and is suspended from the lifting mechanism fixed on the transverse beam of the frame. Said frame is mounted on crusher sidewalls, on their built-up end faces. On the bottom part of the working tool plate on both its sides there are double-console shafts with rotors and beats arranged in assemblies on rolling bearings. On platforms of upper part of working tool plate there installed are drives, which are connected by means of chain transmission with double-console shafts.

EFFECT: use of invention will make it possible to increase crusher operation reliability.
