SUBSTANCE: jaw crusher comprises a housing with side walls, a crushing chamber including a movable jaw 2, a frame 1 and two side walls 3,4, and a working body 17. The working body 17 is made of a plate 20 in the form of a rectangle, located in vertical guides 21-24 above the receiving opening 9 of the crushing chamber and suspended by a lifting mechanism mounted on the cross beam 11 of the frame 10. The cross beam 11 is installed on the upwardly extended ends of the side walls 3,4 of the crusher. The working body 17 is additionally equipped with drill rods 18 with rotational motion drives, which are located in grooves made in a checkerboard pattern in the side edges of the plate 20 at a certain pitch, and respectively facing the frame 1 and the movable jaw 2 of the crusher. The drives 19 for the rotational movement of the drill rods are made in the form of gear motors 29 rigidly connected to the plate 20 and the drill rods 18 are connected to the gear motors 29 using couplings 30 and placed in cylindrical kinematic pairs 31 installed in grooves 25 and fixed to the plate 20. Blade drills 26 are attached to the lower end of the drill rods 18.
EFFECT: jaw crusher is characterized by increased operational reliability.
