SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory mycology. Nutrient medium for producing yeast cells of the dimorphous microscope Histoplasma capsulatum fungus contains a sulfuric hydrolyzate of fish meal, fermented blood as a growth stimulator of haemophilic microorganisms, yeast extract, sodium sulphite, L-cysteine, magnesium sulphate, microbiological agar, fermentative peptone, sodium chloride, defibrinated animal blood, L-cystine, D-glucose, RPMI 1640 – vitamin solution concentrate and distilled water at specified content of components.

EFFECT: invention enables to stimulate in vitro fast conversion of Histoplasma capsulatum cells into a tissue growth phase and to increase the yield of the culture.
