FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial microbiology and specifically to methods of producing tularemic microbe biomass and can be used to isolate antigenic components from cells as well as culture fluid to produce diagnostic preparations against a tularemia agent. The method involves the following. Tularemic microbe inoculum is grown on a solid medium at temperature 37°C, followed by growing the tularemic microbe on a biphase medium and culturing thereon to obtain inoculum. The obtained inoculum is cultured on a liquid medium into which at the step for adding the inoculum and at the beginning of the exponential growth phase, a glucose-vitamin additive is added in amount of 2 ml per 100 ml of the medium and culturing is carried out in said liquid medium at pH 6.8-7.0, temperature 37°C for 16-20 hours. If necessary, 50% fresh liquid medium is added in the exponential growth phase while removing 50% biomass.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain tularemic microbe biomass which is suitable for extracting protective antigenic components.
