FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to facilitate identification of target chemicals in a detector. Essence of the invention is that the method of determining the ratio of ionic particles Cl- to Cl-.OOH in reagent formed in doped pentachloroethane ion mobility spectrometer operating in negative mode includes: i) introducing a sample containing isoflurane or substantially consisting of isoflurane in a pentachloroethane-doped ion mobility spectrometer; ii) collecting data relating to the detection of two monomeric isoflurane ions formed after reaction with ionic Cl- particles and Cl-.OOH reagent, doped with pentachloroethane ion mobility spectrometer; and iii) determination of the ratio of ionic particles Cl- to Cl-.OOH in reagent formed in doped pentachloroethane ion mobility spectrometer, based on evaluation of collected data.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of accurate identification of target chemicals in detector.
