FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection of substances in a sample, in particular, to ion mobility spectrometers. Detection device comprising an ionisation region, an ion gate comprising two electrodes, an ion modifier comprising two electrodes, a drift chamber and a collector. Ion gate and ion modifier are combined whereby ion gate comprises one of ion modifier electrodes.
EFFECT: technical result is minimisation of analysis time.
