FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for electroerosion and combined erosion-chemical profiling of deep holes, mainly of small cross-section. Disclosed is a method of piercing a deep hole in a metal part, carried out by a vibrating profile electrode-tool with pressure feed through a nozzle into the interelectrode gap of a liquid working medium to accelerate mass removal of treatment products. In the place of exit from the interelectrode gap of the liquid working medium with the treatment products at the moment of maximum approach to the part of the shaped tool electrode vibrating along the longitudinal axis through the nozzle, rotating along longitudinal axis with frequency, multiple to vibration frequency of electrode-tool, pulses with pressure of liquid working medium in point of entry into part of electrode-tool, nozzle is separately fed with a jet of the same liquid working medium, after which pressure in the pulse is increased to obtain a cavitation mode of flow of the liquid working medium at the outlet point of the jet from the interelectrode gap and the moment of the liquid working medium jet pulse is matched from the nozzle with the moment of maximum approach to the part of the profile electrode vibrating along the longitudinal axis. Besides the device for the method implementation is suggested.
EFFECT: intensification of small cross-section hole piercing by shaped electrode-tool and increase of hole depth due to acceleration of mass drawing from interelectrode gap of products by disconnection of jets of liquid working medium and creation of cavitation mode of jet flow at output from interelectrode gap.
