FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: this process relates to machine building, particularly, to thermal erosion processing of metals and can be used for spark erosion combined with chemical processing of said metals. In compliance with this process, metal materials are processed in transferred fluid by metallic electrode-tool. Note here that highly inflammable micro particles of zinc and magnesium are feed into electro-discharge gap. Sizes of said particles do not exceed the gap minimum size to maintain the required volumetric content in processing. At electrode-tool end position, feed of said micro particles is terminated to proceed with processing to required surface roughness.

EFFECT: resumed feed of highly inflammable micro particles that can create a cumulative effect.
