FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrochemical and erosion-chemical group stitching of round holes of small diameter, for example, in filters. Method of manufacturing a multi-electrode tool for group firmware round holes includes obtaining a multi-electrode tool with electrodes of rectangular cross section by electroerosive cutting of a monolithic billet along the axis with the formation of mutually perpendicular grooves between the electrodes, in which a cathode is installed for further processing of electrodes of rectangular cross section, assembled in the form of a lattice of metal plates having longitudinal locks in the form of grooves with a depth equal to half the length of the plate, and at the end sections of each plate between the locks there is at least one dielectric point emphasis with a height of not more than the size of the side interelectrode gap, the thickness of the plates is equal to the difference between the width of the groove in the workpiece and twice the value of the lateral interelectrode gap, and the pitch between the plates is equal to the distance between the axes of the adjacent rectangular electrodes.
EFFECT: invention is directed to the manufacture of a multi-electrode tool for group piercing of round holes, ensuring an increase in the accuracy of simultaneous manufacturing of groups of holes and reducing the labour intensity of processing.
