FIELD: production technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for galvanic production of nanostructures. Apparatus for automated production of layered metal nanowires with a controlled composition along their long axis includes a set of containers with solutions of electrolytes and washing solutions, electrodes, a direct current source and a device for controlling electrodeposition, apparatus comprises a motorized device for moving electrodes relative to the base, on which containers with solutions are placed, providing formation of metal layers of different composition, wherein working electrode is a porous film with cylindrical channels, providing conditions for nanowire growth due to limitation of metal growth directions by pore walls. Electrodeposition process is automated, providing possibility of reproducible production of layers of specified thickness, and their number in single nanowire can exceed 1,000 pieces.
EFFECT: disclosed apparatus enables to obtain nanowires with a clear boundary between adjacent layers.
