FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mill for rolling of parts like rotary bodies. Mill comprises mounted on carriage frame moving head units, rolling heads with rollers installed in them, rotary drives of rollers and displacement of said carriages, workstation heating means, main and additional carriages of workpiece longitudinal movement and control and measuring equipment. Workpiece heating facilities include electric heating furnaces, one of which – cylindrical one – is installed coaxially relative to workpiece, and the other one is made in the form of open box, which is installed on end of workpiece. Spindle, spindle rotation drives and main carriage drive are mounted on the main carriage, and the additional one – support with hydraulic cylinder, their rotation drive and reduction gear. Control and measuring equipment includes a control unit, a thermal imaging camera consisting of a thermal imager, an optical system, an absolutely black body, a beam splitter and a CCD camera with an optical system.
EFFECT: result is improved quality of rolling.
