FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and material science and can be used in making additives which improve properties of materials. Mixture of organic and metal-containing substance is mechanically treated by rubbing. Organic substances of cyclic and acyclic structure with side functional groups, for example polyethylene polyamine or isomethyl tetrahydrophthalic anhydride, or diglycidyl ether of ethylene glycol are used. Metal-containing substance used is oxides of such 3d metals as copper, iron or nickel. Then treated mixture is subjected to stepwise heating without air access in temperature range of 100–400 °C. After stepwise heating of the mixture, it is mechanically ground to particle size within 10–500 nm. Carbon metal-containing nanostructures are obtained in the form of nanospheres.

EFFECT: technical result is higher quality characteristics of materials modified with carbon metal-containing nanostructures.
