Method of robot-cleaner charging, used to robot-cleaner, includes: obtaining information on position of charging ports, suitable for robot-cleaner; when determining the fact that robot-cleaner needs charging, obtaining information on current position of robot-cleaner; determining a charging port, which is closest to the current position of the robot cleaner, as the nearest charging port, in accordance with information on the position of the charging ports and information on the current position of the robot cleaner; and controlling movement of robot cleaner to nearest charging port for charging, in accordance with information on position of nearest charging port. Determination of the fact that cleaning robot needs charging includes: determining the fact that the cleaning robot needs charging when the remaining amount of power of the robot cleaner is less than a predetermined value; and the method includes: accounting for the nearest charging port as a charging start point, determining an area where the cleaning robot has not cleaned, as the area to be cleaned, and determination of the second cleaning route, respectively, when the cleaning robot charging in the nearest charging port is controlled, and it starts to work, and controlling that robot cleaner operates along second harvesting path for cleaning of area to be cleaned.
EFFECT: saving electric energy consumption by robot-cleaner.
