FIELD: medical facilities. SUBSTANCE: bandage for treatment of intractable complicated postoperative festering wounds, fistulas, and burns is made from woven carbon material prepared by carbonization of viscose cloth in presence of polyorganosiloxane followed by steam activation at elevated temperature. Carbon fibrous material is characterized by specific surface equal to at least 600 mg/g, conductivity at least 3.5 Ohm/sq.m, air permeability at least 100 cu.dm/sq.m*s, and moisture absorbance above 300%. EFFECT: increased efficiency of treating infecting wounds and burns thanks to high hygroscopicity, and prevented absorption of toxic substances into blood. 2 cl, 6 ex
