FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information transmission, in particular, to ground distribution of television programs in a DVB-T2 broadcasting network. Disclosed is a method of processing an initial common stream issuing a modified common stream, wherein said initial common stream is transmitted by the headend of the network and is intended for a plurality of propagation points and comprises at least one physical tunnel layer encapsulating the transport stream. According to the invention, the method comprises steps of: receiving (11) an initial total flow for at least one physical tunnel layer of the initial total flow, referred to as the initial tunnel: retrieving (12) a transport stream encapsulated in said initial tunnel, referred to as a source transport stream, obtaining (13) a modified transport stream, performing temporary offset (14) of said initial total stream, said modified transport stream is aligned with said initial total flow obtained after temporary displacement, and said initial tunnel is replaced with said initial transport stream by said changed transport flow.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of content replacement, which is compatible with DVB-T2 standard and with other standards of terrestrial digital broadcasting and which in at least one version of implementation allows to guarantee broadcasting in single-frequency broadcasting network (SFN).
