FIELD: television.

SUBSTANCE: method for generating a multi-program transport stream MPTS is proposed, which includes the following steps: receive DVB-T2 TV signal streams, demodulate the received stream; perform Viterbi decoding of the received stream, during which the digital stream is allocated and deinterleaved to obtain the order of the data in time; demultiplex the received stream and perform PID filtering to extract transport data packets or elementary streams, and generate a signal transport stream; receive streams of analogue audio-video signals from the video capture device, and perform: conversion of analogue audio-video signals into digital form with control of the frame rate of the video stream in accordance with the duration of the audio stream; compression of the digitized signals; reception of IPTV streams with removal of service information from the received data; generation of data packets containing a transport stream and program streams generated based on the processed data streams of audio-video signals and IPTV streams; processing of the said data packets, during which the transport stream is demultiplexed; the audio-video data packets are decoded into a recompressed audio-video stream; requantization is performed without transcoding if the input stream matches the codec of the output stream, or transcoding of the video and audio elementary streams into the required format is performed; and a single program transport stream (SPTS) is generated; an MPTS is generated based on the received SPTS with overhead recovery; MPTS modulation is performed; a digital HF signal is formed based on the result of the performed signal modulation, and the resulting digital HF signal is converted into an L-band analog HF signal, and transmitted over a data transmission channel.
