SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the cosmetic industry, in particular to a personal care composition comprising a cleansing base comprising at least one cleansing agent selected from soap and a surfactant, and an effective amount of an antibacterial system containing phenoxyethanol and pyroxone, wherein phenoxyethanol is present in amount of 0.5 to 1 wt% of total weight of composition and also relates to a method of removing bacteria from skin or inhibiting growth of bacteria on skin, a method of producing a personal care composition.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides excellent antibacterial efficacy.
