FIELD: pharmaceuticals; cosmetology.
SUBSTANCE: present paper describes personal hygiene compositions containing a surfactant system; wherein the surfactant system is present in the composition in amount of 5 to 30 % by weight of the composition; amino acid, wherein amino acid is selected from a group consisting of taurine, arginine, glycine and a combination of one or more thereof; and an auxiliary means for deposition, wherein the auxiliary precipitation agent is present in the composition in amount of 0.01 to 2 % by weight of the composition; and the auxiliary deposition means comprises a PVM/MA copolymer, characterized by molecular weight (MW) of 300000 to 800000, optionally 700000, or a copolymer of vinylimidazolium and vinylpyrrolidone. Also described is a method for increasing deposition of an amino acid, for example taurine or arginine, on the surface of mammal skin from a personal care composition.
EFFECT: technical result is the delivery of significant levels of taurine and other effective substances onto the skin, stability of the product.
