SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a soap bar composition. Soap bar composition for delivering an active water-soluble reagent contains from 40 to 80% soap; porous clay particles, characterized by water-holding capacity in range of 10 to 50 wt.%, coated with an active water-soluble reagent, having solubility in water at 25 °C of at least 0.001 wt.%, and additionally coated on top of it with a hydrophobic material, such as paraffin, and where the active water-soluble reagent is an antimicrobial cationic substance. Also disclosed is a method of producing coated clay particles for use in a composition and a method of delivering a water-soluble active substance to the skin.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides improved delivery of water-soluble reagents having a beneficial effect on the skin, so that the desired activity of the beneficial reagent is observed for a long period of time after washing.
