SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to methods for detecting tumor cells in the stage of epithelial-mesenchymal transition in ascitic fluids. It can be used in clinical laboratory diagnostics. Method for quantitative estimation of cell fraction in epithelial-mesenchymal passage in ascitic fluid of ovarian cancer using immunofluorescent staining is that from a fixed formaldehyde sample of ascitic fluid a single-cell suspension is prepared, which is stained with double-sandwich antibodies, fluorescence is detected on a flow cytofluorimeter, quantitative analysis of the results presented in the form of dot diagrams in WinMDI 2.9 program, calculating the percentage of cells containing a single and double fluorescent labels.

EFFECT: presented is a method for quantitative assessment of the cell fraction in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition in ascitic fluid and solid tumors of ovarian cancer.
