FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynecology, and can be used as a prediction of increasing uterine leiomyoma size in females of reproductive age within one year of observation. Substance of the method consists in that in the first phase of menstrual cycle in mononuclear cells of endometrium, located in projection of myomatous nodule, relative content of CD204+ macrophages in macrophage gate is determined. If the value is less than 20 %, the uterine leiomyoma size is predicted to increase within one year, and if the value is more than 20 %, the stable size of the uterine leiomyoma is predicted within one year.

EFFECT: using the given method enables predicting a risk of increasing uterine leiomyoma size, which enables to maximally preserve the reproductive function of women by optimizing the choice and volume of conservative and surgical methods of treatment.
