FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building, particularly to alarm systems for vehicles. Vehicle alarm system comprises a touch sensor, a communication module and a controller. Vehicle comprises remote device configured to transmit wireless signal connection signal and shutdown signal. Method of operation of an alarm system for a vehicle comprises steps of receiving a connection signal from a remote device. Touch sensor is switched on. It is detected whether a person is within the specified distance from the bicycle frame coated with electroconductive material. An alarm signal is generated if a person is detected within a given distance from the bicycle frame. Off signal is received from remote device. Touch sensor is switched off in response to reception of off-switch signal.
EFFECT: enabling higher efficiency.
