SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and a method for controlling power to a vehicle. Vehicle power supply control system contains a power supply control module containing a processor. Processor has a data transmission direction register (DDR), which includes a first port and a logic circuit connected to the processor and the vehicle subsystem. First port is preset in the input direction. Processor is programmed to determine the ignition state and the vehicle speed. If the ignition is switched off and the speed is higher than the predetermined threshold value, the power is supplied to the vehicle subsystem via a logic circuit. If the ignition is switched off and the speed is below the predetermined threshold value, the first port is switched to the output direction to remove power from the vehicle subsystem.
EFFECT: increased safety during operation.
