FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rolling. Working roller of pinch-pass mill has billed surface. Technical result is provided due to fact that coefficient of material of roller surface structure, which characterizes availability of material in percentage expression on section of roll surface at depth, measured relative to the zero mark line in the direction of the rotation axis of the working roller of the pinch-pass mill, from 0.2 mcm to 9 mcm, preferably at depth from 0.8 mcm to 5.5 mcm, the value of which is 2 %, wherein said line of zero mark corresponds to value of structure material coefficient, which is equal to 0.1 % at depth of 0 mcm. Invention also relates to a method of tempering flat rolled metal, in particular steel, using a working roll of a pinch-pass mill and to a product of flat metal rolling, in particular, of rolled steel produced using this method.
EFFECT: reduced waviness of rolled products.
