SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmacology, medicine and cosmetology, in particular for the accompanying therapy of neurodegenerative diseases, in particular parkinsonism syndrome, induced by oxidative stress, and is a Lactobacillus fermentum B-12075 strain having antioxidant properties, particularly with respect to a peroxide-induced superoxide anion, deposited in the international collection of Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms (Moscow) under number V-12075 dated October 08, 2014, the genome nucleotide sequence is deposited in GenBank under number WGS PNBB00000000.1.
EFFECT: disclosed is lactobacillus fermentum u-21, which produces a complex of biologically active substances which neutralize superoxide anion induced by chemical agents.
