METHOD OF CORRECTION OF OXIDATIVE STATUS IN PARKINSON'S DISEASE IN EXPERIMENT Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61K31/47 A61K47/20 A61P25/16

Abstract RU 2800859 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention is the use of 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline (hydroxy-THC) for the correction of oxidative status in modeling Parkinson's disease. The method includes intraperitoneal administration of hydroxy-THC for 10 days at a dose of 50 mg/kg of rat body weight in the form of an aqueous solution containing 0.9 wt. % of sodium chloryl and 5 vol. % of dimethyl sulfoxide, at the rate of 0.5 ml of solution per 0.2 kg of animal body weight.

EFFECT: invention provides improvement of motor-coordination parameters and reduction of parameters of free radical oxidation intensity in the brain and blood serum of animals.
