FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural machine building. Method of hardening of soil cultivation tools includes formation of recesses on surface of parts with their further filling with hard alloy by method of electric arc surfacing. After intermittent application on surface of parts of working elements of hard wear-resistant alloy they are cooled in air to temperature of +20 °C, and then exposed to cold in temperature range -78…-196 °C for 72…76 hours with subsequent tempering at temperature +150 °C for 3 hours.
EFFECT: higher durability of tillage working tools.
