SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. Tread surface 3 is made so that if to take area located on inner side of shoulder longitudinal main grooves 13 in transverse direction of tire, beyond inner area 4, and areas located outside from shoulder longitudinal grooves 13 in transverse direction of tire, outside areas 5, each of units 20 located in inner area 4, is divided by narrow grooves 30 into three or more small units 40, and each of units 20 located in outer areas 5 is divided by narrow grooves 30 into several small units 40, number of which is at least one smaller number of small units 40 formed in units 20 located in inner area 4. Small units 40, which include front sections of units 20 in tire rotation direction, are units 41 located in direction of movement, and small units 40, which include rear sections of units 20 in tire rotation direction, are units 42 located opposite direction of movement. Area of surface of unit 41 located in direction of movement is less than surface area of unit 42 located opposite direction of movement.
EFFECT: improved resistance to non-uniform wear, as well as reduced noise of the pneumatic tire.
