FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automotive industry. The tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes the first longitudinal main groove located on the first side in the transverse direction of the tire; the second longitudinal main groove located on the outer side of the first longitudinal main groove in the transverse direction of the tire; the first annular narrow groove located in the area between the first longitudinal main groove and the second longitudinal main groove, and the first annular narrow groove has a smaller groove width than that of the first longitudinal main groove and the second longitudinal main groove; an intermediate ground-engaging groove located in the area with a passage from the second longitudinal main groove to the first annular narrow groove, and the intermediate ground-engaging groove is closed and does not reach the first annular narrow groove; and a slot located in the area, with the passage from the closed end of the intermediate ground-hitch groove to connect the closed end with the first annular narrow groove. In the area between the first longitudinal main groove and the first annular narrow groove, there are no ground-catching grooves, and the wall of the first longitudinal main groove on the side of the first annular narrow groove bypasses without interruption in the direction along the circumference of the tire.
EFFECT: improvement in the characteristics of steering stability on wet surfaces and noise characteristics in high-speed and low-speed zones.
