FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technology of making fiber-optic matrices for biochips and can be used in analytical chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmacology, medicine. Method of making a fiber-optic matrix for a biochip involves etching an end surface of a fiber-optic array to form a well structure. At that, on end surface of not etched MCP billets thin layer is applied from substance inert to nitric acid, then performing etching, wherein fiber-optic matrix is immersed into nitric acid solution at temperature of 20–30 °C and held for 1–10 hours and after removal of applied coating, workpiece is subjected to ultrasonic cleaning at frequency 25–30 kHz, generator power 200–250 W, then dried at temperature of 100–150 °C, duration of 1 hour. Also disclosed is a version of a method of making a fiber-optic matrix for a biochip with a multilayer structure.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the creation of mechanically strong fine-structure fiber-optic matrices for biochips with a wide range of geometric sizes of matrices and microstructure parameters, which widens the field of their application.
