FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a textile substrate made from reinforcing fibers, for making a preform from composite material containing a unidirectional composite, consisting of at least one flat layer of complex reinforcing threads arranged nearby and parallel to each other and connected by means of transverse threads, where nonwoven material of thermoplastic polymer material is located on at least one flat layer of complex reinforcing threads and is glued to flat layer of complex reinforcing threads. Textile substrate is characterized by that the transverse threads have a "core-shell" structure, comprising a first component making up the shell, and a second component making the core, where the first component has a lower melting point than the second component; first component is a fused, thermoplastic, polymer material; and complex reinforcing threads arranged next to each other are connected together by means of the first component of transverse threads by means of thermo-gluing.

EFFECT: disclosed is a textile substrate made from reinforcing fibers.
