FIELD: heat exchange.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe in pipe type heat exchanger for carrying out heat exchange processes between heat carriers using movable channels (rotating pipes) and may be used in the gas, chemical and oil refining industries. Heat exchanger consists of two concentric pipes: inner pipe and outer pipe, spiral belt, round link chains, two bearings, two seals and fixed nozzles for inlet and outlet of hot and cold heat carriers. Spiral tape is rigidly installed in internal pipe with possibility of rotation of internal pipe, spiral tape and round-link chains due to energy flow of hot heat carrier. Series of round-link chains of equal length with one end are rigidly attached to one generatrix of outer wall of inner pipe with pitch equal to at least two chain lengths, wherein length of each chain is less than distance between walls of external and internal pipes.

EFFECT: increase in the intensity of heat transfer processes; reduction of metal costs for the manufacture of heat exchangers; lowering the hydraulic resistance of the heat exchanger.
