FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to vanadium-containing charge for oxidative burning, and can be used in production of vanadium products. Charge contains vanadium-containing material of finely ground vanadium converter slag with disperse iron content of 0.5–2.5 %, binder is a solution which includes recycled water from thickening and filtering pulp formed by wet grinding of converter vanadium slag with a reagent calcium-containing additive, and recycled water from neutralization of drain water after hydrolytic precipitation of vanadium oxides, with the following ratio of components, wt%: converter vanadium slag base; reagent calcium-containing additive 4–12 and binder 6–22, wherein ratio of said recycled waters in binder is 1:(0.01–0.50).
EFFECT: invention allows to create granules with required strength in raw state and possibility to acquire highly porous permeable structure in process of their heat treatment, which allows to stabilize oxidative annealing of charge in granulated form, and achieve higher values of opening and extraction of vanadium, removing the problem associated with dust precipitation.
