METHODS OF ARTICLES PRODUCTION BY MEANS OF ADDITIVE PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B21J5/00 B23K15/00 B23K26/00

Abstract RU 2705841 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for making metal articles using additive production (AP). A shaped billet is obtained from the initial raw material for AP. At that, planning of trajectory of continuous deposition of molten metal layers is performed with provision of overlapping between adjacent continuously applied layers in vertical direction perpendicular to application plane. Each applied AP-layer is obtained from continuously deposited layers, and between the first applied AP-layer and the subsequent applied AP-layer continuously applied layers of the next AP-layer do not completely overlap with continuously applied layers of the first AP-layer. As a result, shaped metal billet with smoothed outer surface having stepless walls is obtained. Then, at least one subsequent workpiece processing is performed to produce finished molded metal product.

EFFECT: obtaining a workpiece with reduced defect areas occurring during subsequent processing, and therefore, higher quality of the obtained articles.
