SUBSTANCE: invention relates to isothermal reactor for exothermal or endothermic heterogeneous reactions and can be used in oil refining and petrochemical industry. Reactor contains a shell, a heating jacket, fittings for input and output of raw materials, latches, nozzle for spraying the raw material into the reactor cavity, bypassing the supply of raw materials, bypassing the heating jacket, hatches for loading and unloading the catalyst, gas outlet connectors, inspection hatch. Preheated material is fed into the heating jacket and heats the internal cavity of the reactor or maintains the temperature regime during the catalytic processes. Reactor may comprise annular baffles controlling the movement of the feed along the reactor axis.

EFFECT: provides a simplification of the method of supplying heat to the reactor, increasing energy savings through a more complete use of secondary heat and thermal insulation of equipment.
