METHOD OF RELOADING PLATINUM-CONTAINING CHLORINATED CATALYST FOR LOW-TEMPERATURE ISOMERISATION WITHOUT LOSS OF ACTIVITY THEREOF Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC B01J8/00 B65G65/00 B65G69/12 B65G69/18 B65G69/20

Abstract RU 2840086 C1

FIELD: oil refining; petrochemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil refining, petrochemistry and is meant for use in low-temperature isomerisation apparatus in which, according to the requirements of Rostekhnadzor rules, a full process of internal inspection of the reactor is necessary during the operation of the catalyst, and as a result, unloading of a platinum-containing chlorinated catalyst and reloading thereof. Main distinguishing features of the disclosed solution lie in measures taken to constantly maintain a nitrogen atmosphere around the catalyst, the vibrating sieve and sealing storage containers. Catalyst is unloaded at excess pressure of nitrogen throughout the assembled system from reactor to barrels. Unloading is carried out into dense polyethylene packages inserted into light packages and into new barrels. Dried nitrogen is continuously fed inside said tight pack in discharge of catalyst. After filling packages are closed with special ties preventing ingress of external atmosphere inside, and barrels are blown with nitrogen and tightly closed with covers with rubberized seal. All these measures taken together allow maintaining invariable activity of the catalyst and prolonging its service life.

EFFECT: preservation of activity of the platinum-containing chlorinated catalyst for low-temperature isomerisation during its reloading, which enables to obtain twofold extension of its service life.
