FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a structure with zero porosity, having a plurality of structural elements, providing a negative Poisson ratio, as well as a new mechanism for creating a negative Poisson ratio in one material and a structure with zero porosity. Described is the transformation of a layered structure or one or more parts thereof, having a positive Poisson ratio, into a structure with a negative Poisson ratio - an auxetic structure along one or more axes.
EFFECT: structures with zero porosity demonstrate very low values of voltage at controlled displacement and relatively high structural rigidity, which allows their use under conditions of controlled load and controlled displacement.
