FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nutritional compositions for feeding in early childhood or subsequent years. Method for improving lipid absorption after food intake and/or increasing rate of lipid absorption after consumption of food in a subject involves administering to the subject a nutritional composition containing carbohydrates, protein and lipid globules. Protein contains casein, while the lipid globules contain vegetable fat-derived triglycerides and phospholipids obtained from milk of a non-human mammal. Lipid globules have: a characteristic diameter of 2 to 6 mcm, or a specific surface area of 0.5 to 15 m2/g of lipid, or characteristic diameter of 2 to 6 mcm and specific surface area of 0.5 to 15 m2/g of lipid. Lipid globules have a coating which contains phospholipids.
EFFECT: invention allows intensifying the fat absorption after meals and increasing the gastric emptying speed.
