FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry and consists in an improved method of producing cobalt dihydrate glycinate, in which the reagents used are cobalt (II) carbonate, which is added in portions to an aqueous solution of glycine in ratio of 1:3:2.5 in moles with constant maintenance of temperature of 60–65 °C.
EFFECT: present method enables to obtain cobalt glycinate of high degree of purity with minimum use of reaction reagents, as well as avoid formation of by-products.
