FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing amino acid chelate compounds. The method is characterised by that metal oxides and/or metal carbonates and/or metal sulphates and/or metal chlorides and/or metal hydroxides in solid form are mechanically activated and the activated metal oxides and/or metal carbonates and/or metal hydroxides and/or metal sulphates and/or metal chlorides are brought together with amino acids in solid form and converted to amino acid chelate compounds in a solid-phase reaction. The metal is copper, and/or zinc, and/or manganese, and/or iron, and/or magnesium, and/or calcium, and/or nickel, and/or cobalt. The invention also discloses amino acid chelate compounds whose particles have a finely dispersed needle-like structure, and use of the amino acid chelate compounds.
EFFECT: invention provides a simple and stable method which is suitable for industrial production of amino acid chelate compounds.
