FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely veterinary medicine. The introduction of a complex trace element preparation based on an iron-hydroxide polymaltose complex, containing in 1 ml as active substances: Iron (III) 50 mg, Copper (Cu) 0.1 mg, Cobalt (Co) 0.2 mg, Selenium (Se) 0.07, Manganese (Mn) 0.6-0.7 mg, Zinc (Zn) 0.6-0.7 mg is carried out to young fur-bearing animals during the growing period in the diet at a dose of 0.1 ml/kg of animal weight daily with water for drinking for 60 days. Also, the feed additive Abiotonic is administered in a dose of 0.5 ml/kg of animal weight every other day with water for drinking for 80 days.
EFFECT: method provides prevention of iron deficiency anemia in fur-bearing animals with simultaneous prevention of hypocobaltosis and hypocuprosis, makes it possible to make up for vitamin as well as protein deficiency.
