FIELD: information and measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device for determining content of water in a stream of an oil product, including a pipe section, an amplifier and a primary converter. Alternating current source, recorder and thermocouple contacting with external surface of pipe section are also introduced. Primary converter is made in the form of a heater located on the outer surface of the pipe section opposite the thermocouple, where the AC source is connected to the heater, the thermocouple output is connected to the input of the recorder via the amplifier.

EFFECT: simplified process of determination of water content in oil product flow.
