SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, and in particular to a method for effective antioxidant protection of pigs in selenium-iodine deficient regions. Method is characterized by the following: intramuscularly prescribed organic compounds "Selenopiran" in dose of 0.1 mg Se/kg of body weight in the complex with iodomidol in dose of 0.1 ml/kg of body weight in 2-, 46-, 181-day age at the background of the main ration at the beginning of growing, nursery and fattening periods.

EFFECT: use of the invention will allow to prevent oxidative and process stress and increase productivity.
