SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, veterinary medicine, zootechnics and biotechnology. Method for assessing the peroxidic homeostasis of rabbit organisms includes administering to male and female rabbits the antioxidant drug “Oxy-Nile Dry” in the early stages of postnatal ontogenesis in equal doses of 300 mg/kg of feed, preparation of biological material, research of general clinical and biochemical blood parameters, determination of physiological parameters of the organism in the dynamics of sex and age.

EFFECT: as markers, the activity of the main antioxidant enzymes and concentrations of malonic dialdehyde and diene conjugates in blood plasma were determined, which together allow one to judge the depth of activation of lipid peroxidation, if total accumulation of products of lipid peroxidation exceeds the total activity of the enzymatic link, the organism is in a state of oxidative stress, if on the contrary, it is in the state of activated compensation.
