FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a coding mask for gamma radiation. Device comprises nested masks, at least one of which rotates relative to the other. Mask device for use in measuring incoming radiation by "compressed measurement" method comprises one or more coding masks, each mask has a housing formed from material, which reduces intensity of incoming radiation. Each mask of said one or more single masks has a plurality of aperture areas of the mask, which have higher transmission of radiation compared to other portions of said one or more masks, sufficient for restoring results of "compressed measurement". Said one or more coding masks are configured to rotate. In case said mask device contains more than one coding mask, at least one of coding masks is made with possibility of rotation relative to other coding masks.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of gamma-image forming device, which performs fewer measurements than known means of obtaining for gamma-image, possibility of obtaining images of visualized three-dimensional space formed by fewer measurements than number of pixels in image.
