FIELD: physics; image processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices which limit appearance of detected false images arising when using a gamma camera with a coding mask, used in places where gamma-ray sources are located. The invention is a device which limits appearance of detected false images for a gamma camera with a coding mask (1), which has a gamma-ray detector (3) lying opposite the coding mask and having a field of view which includes the partial coding area (20) of the coding mask. The device has a concealed part (30) which is not transparent to gamma-rays and lies opposite the detector (3) relative the coding mask (1). The said concealed part (30) covers the partial coding area (20) of the field of view of the detector (3).
EFFECT: suppression of detected false images, simple manufacture.
